At Glasgow the 10 April 1860 compeared Joseph Bain Writer Glasgow and gave in the Inventory to be recorded where of the tenor follows.

Inventory of the personal estate of the decease Mrs Isabella Todd or Bain residing at Morriston Cambuslang who died there on the 6 day of October 1859

Summa Inventarii

At Glasgow the 4 day of April 1860 years. In presence of Alexander Stratham Esq Commissary of Lanarkshire compeared Joseph Bain of Westport Writer in Glasgow who being solemly sworn and examined depones that his mother the deceased Mrs Isabella Todd or Bain residing at Morriston in the Parish of Cambuslang died there upon the 6 day of October 1859 And the deponent is about to enter upon the possession of her personal or movable estate as executor ? next of kin of the deceased. That the deponent does not know of any settlement or other writing left by the deceased relative to the disposal of her personal estate or any part thereof. That the foregoing inventory which is signed by the deponent and the said commissary as relative hereto in a full true and complete inventory of the personal estate and effects of the said deceased Mrs Isabella Todd or Bain wheresoever situated already recovered or known to be existing belonging is due to the said deceased beneficially at the time of her death And that the said estate all of which is situated in Scotland is of the value of £600 and under the value of £800 sterling all which is truth as the deponent shall answer to god (signed) Joseph Bain
