My Shoobridge
Family
Historically
the Shoobridge family is believed to have originated in Kent, in
fact the name is still found extensively in the South East region
of England - for more information check out Shoobridge
under Name Meanings. Current research identifies our line of the
Shoobridge family as originating in Benenden, Kent abt 1750.
The earliest
known member of our Shoobridge line is Richard Shoobridge (abt
1674 - ). However little is known of the Shoobridge family before
the migration to Australia of his GG Grandson, John
Shoobridge (1811 - 1872).
