Other Chevs l have owned
This is my 57 Chev Wagon,
not long after l got it in 1992, its a Californian car and apart from
the floor pans was fairly rust free. It is an original 283 V8 with a 2speed
powerglide. It is fairly standard a part from the mags, T bar shifter and air
conditioning.
The new paint
job in acrylic done by myself . There are some imperfections but l think is a
really good job for a every day driver.
Fully assembled
and registed on holidays at the beach. Would you believe l still need a larger
car.
It now runs a
283 and turbo 350 with air of course.
This is a 52
Chev Ute l restored in 1986. It ran a 235 Blue flame engine built to 50's race
specs. The Gearbox and Diff were from a 1954 chev as these were a little
stronger. Twin SU's on a home made manifold with custom extractors made it
sound very different from the original. The entire left side of the car was
replaced with a NOS quarter panel and a new tailgate made. The back floor was
polished Jarrah.
It was great fun to drive with my wife driving it each day to work, unfortunately l sold it many years ago to build my garage.
