QUESTIONS.
I have some awkward questions to ask today. The Holy Spirit gave them to me in
my time with Him this morning.
Question 1. Why is it that we ask for healing, or money, or deliverance from difficulties all the
time but we never ask for mercy, kindness, love, joy, peace, patience, perserverance,
goodness, faithfulness, self-control?
Question 2. Why is it that when we ask for His kingdom to come, we mean His
kingdom to come in our lives, not the lives of our enemies?
Question 3. Why is it that we spend more time praying about me, myself
and mine than anything else?
Question 4. Why can we remember so clearly someone else's mistakes
and not our own?
Question 5. When is the body of Christ going to realize we are not our own
we have been bought with a price? ("Purchased with a Preciousness.." the Amplified Bible says.)
Question 6. When you look into the bible - why do you try to identify with the
people you read about? Why don't you try to identify with Christ? (He is a man!)
Finally, in closing, a statement. The body of Christ needs to get used to
helping one another to succeed, so our entire success depends on the other guy
getting the blessing.
