DEATH LEAVES NO CHOICES. In a previous page I talked about Death and today, as I was meditating on it again, I felt the Lord tell me to speak on this subject more extensively than before.
"Just as a man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." (Hebrews 9:27)
Firstly I want to say that after death there is no room for choices. In other words, you can't suddenly discover that hell is real and you are going there! The only thing you will realize after death if you go to hell, is that you deserve to be there, and that fact will be based on GOD'S JUDGMENT not yours. It is so easy to think, "I am a nice person, I don't hurt anybody, why would a good God want to send me to hell?"

The answer to this question is this: God doesn't want to send you to hell, but He has laid down HIS RULES AND WAY TO GET TO HEAVEN AND IF YOU DON'T MEET THE CRITERIA BY THEN, YOU HAVE MISSED OUT.
My daughter has a saying: "Hell is HOT and eternity is longer than you can imagine!" Actually, Hell is about more than just heat. It is about knowing, every nanosecond of every eternal moment, that YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO COME HERE, you would be in heaven right now if you had only listened to someone, or read the bible, (which is available in bookshops by the way!), or gone to as many churches as you needed too, to find out! The trouble is, most people in Western Society, don't want to surrender their lives to Someone else. They are selfish. "If I follow Jesus, I might have to give up a whole lot of stuff I like!" YOU GOT THAT RIGHT BUDDY.

I want you to meditate on this fact. You were alive in your mother's womb, but you have no memory of that time. Yet it was before you arrived here. As there was something before your life here, perhaps you should think carefully about your life after here. Also meditate on this: EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR LIFE HERE WILL FADE INTO INSIGNIFICANCE IN ONE HUNDRED YEARS TIME. No-one will even remember your name. You will be a statistic.

But, right now, in heaven, God not only knows your name, He knows every thought you think, everything you do, even how many hairs are on your head. And He cares about your life, ETERNALLY. In fact, He cares so much that He sent His Son two thousand years ago, to pay for your "GET OUT OF HELL FREE card." Sin has a penalty, and Jesus paid your penalty - He paid my penalty. Hell was made for demons, not men. God did not ever intend any human being He created to go to hell. That's why Jesus went to hell after he was crucified. Then He beat the crap out of the devil and took the keys to death and hell.
"I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades." (Hell) Revelation 1:18

I WANT TO MAKE THIS ABSOLUTELY CLEAR, HELL HAS NO LOCKED DOORS! This is significant because you need to understand the only person who can organise your trip there is YOU! Make no mistake about it, God Himself will send you there based upon your choice here. Choose Christ for a Saviour and you choose LIFE. Choose to take your chances or go with some other god, and you will get to experience hell - FIRSTHAND.

I want to conclude now and leave you with this thought. Heaven is not some fluffly white clouds with girlie angels and Jesus in a nightie. When you see Him, and you will!: - HIS PRESENCE WILL BE SO GLORIOUS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LOOK AT HIM, AND YOU WILL CRY OUT FOR SOMETHING TO HIDE YOURSELF UNDER!! Heaven is the source of every worthwhile thought you ever had, every good thing ever done, and every wonderful, beneficial thing invented for mankind. You will be fully known, and accepted and understood. Communication will no longer be a problem.

You will be able to communicate with, in person, the One who made the galaxies, and designed ants, elephants and amoebas, and you will understand Him and get to know Him better because of it. I strongly urge you: do not be like a little child who hides his face and thinks he cannot be seen because he cannot see you! (Your ability to see Him does not make Him unreal!) God is real, and He loves you, He wants your company for eternity.
