With the drill sitting in the hole as a guide I did some quick eyeball alignment marking out to establish the places for two grub screws and centre punched them.

Doing a bit of aligning and drilling for the grub screws. You can see a little home made machine jack supporting the end of the job, simple small jacks can be made out of a short piece of square keysteel, drilled and tapped to take a set screw, in the pic it's a square headed set screw.

Slot drill has been called to duty here to get a nice recess in that hole that's on the slope. Everything is bolted down here and the cut taken in very fine and careful feed rate.

I scraped all the sharp edges and just rechucked it to polish er up again.

I made sure I made the body just a smidgen under the size of the hole in the spanner for the Posilock holder.

So this is what all the fuss was about. Simple flycutter holders though can come in mighty handy on a variety of jobs. A pic similar to this is on one of my Gingery Shaper pages.
