'Twas the night before cub-bash
Iain's web page -> Snippetry -> 'Twas the night before cub-bash
Remember the Second Commandment of Iain while reading this: Thou shalt not take jokes seriously
'Twas the night before cub bash
And all through the house...
Not a creature was stirring
Not even one of them louse.
Then up came the scouts
creeping up to the fire
And seizing their axes...
Gave a cub wounds most dire.
Then in came the leaders
Rushing in through the door
They disarmed the scouts
And sat them down on the floor.
But the scouts soon grew restless
They would not be subdued
They each jumped to their feet
and screamed a war cry of "duuuuuuude"
The scouts ran on rampage
They could not be controlled
No cubs would dare face them
Not even those counted bold.
They rounded up the leaders
(the good ones they spared)
And for every swing of the axe
An ex-army head would roll
The cubs just kept coming
They did not know when to stop
So the scouts just kept swinging
Till the last head went plop!
Remember, this is a joke. It was written after I'd spent far too long with some particularly aggressive cubs.
