The seat top and forward deck were cut to shape and sealed on the inside faces. Framing had to be added around the centreboard case and the mast step installed before the middle seat and forward deck were glued into place.

OK! Turned the boat over again and went to work on the inside. We added framing to the top edge of the frames and provided support across the middle of the stern seat. The centreboard case was fabricated from 9mm plywood and 20mm timber. The inside of the case was coated with epoxy resin and sanded smooth before assembly. The case was then epoxy glued to the hull and the whole inside of the hull given a coat of epoxy resin.

After sanding the fibreglass tape edges the whole exterioir was given a coat of epoxy resin followed by two coats of Aquacote high build undercoat. This is epoxy based - make sure you stir it! The centreboard hole was cut at the front of the middle seat as shown in the plans.
