Matthew & Wayne Pearce. 3 years old. I am now 21 years old. These two pictures were taken at Lidcombe Oval for a charity function.. I think. I have been following the Balmain Tigers now the Wests Tigers since my earliest childhood memories. I play Rugby League for my school. My Father and my Grandfather have always been Balmain supporters. My Dad was raised in this district and went to all the local Catholic schools. He did his HSC at Holy Cross at Balmain. The home of many Tiger players including Benny Elias. I go to all their games held in Sydney and Wollongong with my school buddies. Benny has now retired and is on the board of Directors of the Balmain Leagues Club and Wayne is the coach of the Wests Tigers and is the coach of the State of Origin. Our greatest beloved Tiger supporter Laurie Nichols has gone to rest on the sidelines of heaven. May he now rest in peace knowing his beloved team's new name has given them a much stronger team. Well we can live in hope* The game is not the same without Benny and Wayne and Scotty Gale (now deceased) Wayne Pearce A great player and has been with the Tigers since he was 10. He has decided to have a break, I wish him well. Let us hope we can move on now and get back to being a strong team for next year. Again we live in hope..
