Jane was living on the property 'Ritchies', Culcairne, NSW.
Ethel was living with her family in Glenferie Rd, Glenferie, Melbourne.

Min referred to in the Post Card was Minnie Sherwood (1897 - 1981)
Douglas was Arthur and Jane's son.

'Rich' was Ethel and Jane's older brother.
Arthur was Jane's husband, Arthur Sherwood.

July 3rd .

Dear Jean, Do you think you can recognise this little girl.  
It's just in case you forget what your sister looks like.  
I haven't had any word from Min for ages, if you see her just rouse her up for me will (you).   How are all the children I expect Douglas can talk by now.   Lucy's baby can't but he is the biggest mischief out.   He nearly set the place alight the other night but had sense enough to stand back and yell for all he was worth.   Rich was down for a few days and he was saying he has a letter started to Arthur but it's not finished yet.   Love to all loving sister Ethel.
