	CARRYING THE TORCH IN 2000 BREATH IN AND OUT FOR LIFE LES GRONOW was born in 1924 and first began studying then teaching health and fitness techniques as a teenager in Sydney. The classes he has conducted since, stretching over almost fifty years, have attracted many of Australia's sports champions and people from every other walk of life. He was awarded the Order of Australia in 1985 for services to sport and the community. The Year 2001 brings with it the fact that as an Australian Porcelain Artist I have enjoyed twenty-five years listening, learning and working out with Les. All who know Les personally are proud of his achievements. The honour of being selected as a Torch bearer for the 2000 Olympic Games has been bestowed on this very quite hard working Australian.
