Note...
You can find the tapes/CDs of these talks which have notes
written below either from
www.matthiasmedia.com.au (if they're MYC, LSM or Club 5) or www.kcc.org.au
(if they're any of the Katoomba convention ones - MKC, KYLC).
 | Notes from KYLC 2005, (Katoomba Youth Leadership
Conference) on the theme "Radical Rule". Speakers for
the talks were Richard Chin on Colossians, and John
Woodhouse on Psalms.

given by Paul Grimmond at Meroo in July 2004 to CBSer's from UNSW.

Find the tapes of
these MYC talks at www.matthiasmedia.com.au
...and also, I'll type up some stuff from
the 'Me and Ministry' workshop later. (I fell asleep in the Postmodernism
one...my deepest apologies to Greg Clarke)
 | Notes on the Love Sex & Marriage
Talks,
given by Phillip Jensen in 2003 at The Bible
Talks (a church that meets at Sydney Boys High). You can find the
CD of the talk at www.matthiasmedia.com.au
and it'd be really good to either buy a copy of the talk from them, or to borrow
it off a friend to listen to. They're a set of talks on the topic of Love, Sex & Marriage.
They rock.

 | Notes to a sermon
that Don
Carson preached at m28, a missionary meeting that is held at Sydney
Missionary & Bible College every few months. This particular
talk is on Matthew 28 and the Great Commission, and was at the June 14, 2003
m28 meeting. Click here to be
edified. |
 | Notes from UNSW MYC (Mid-Year Conference), held at Meroo Conference Centre over 5 days in July,
and revolved around a set of talks by Paul Grimmond on the topic of 'Guidance'.
|
 | KYLC
2003 (the
Katoomba Youth Leadership
Convention) revolved around the theme 'You Can Handle the Truth'.
The speakers were Paul Grimmond (the evening speaker at Camp
Fletcher) speaking on the book of 2 Timothy, and Simon Manchester
(the morning speaker at KCC) speaking on the book of 1 Samuel.
|
 | KYLC 2004
revolved around the theme 'Face Your King'. The speakers were Gary
Koo, who spoke on the book of Mark, and Mervyn Eloff, who
spoke on the book of Exodus. Look out for Gary's 4th talk, as
that was particularly good. It was so good that it was like someone
had whacked the back of your head with a baseball bat.

To this point I don't have any more typed up sermon notes,
but if you're craving to read more, here are a few good sites that have sermon
notes:
 | Burwood @ Five,
has downloadable very detailed sermon
notes from their pastor, Eugene Hor's sermons. |
 | CMS
Summer School with Don Carson was brilliant, and this site has a
walkthrough of the entire seven days, including notes from Don Carson's
expository preaching of 1 & 2 Peter. [broken link...will be fixed
soon] |
 | At the KCC centenary celebrations, I went along to a talk
at Morling College. It was the first time I'd heard Don Carson speak
and he's pretty awesome! Unfortunately as there
was only standing room left (it was soooo packed that people were standing
at the windows outside to hear him speak), I wasn't able to personally take
notes. Scott Yang, a FOCUS worker at UNSW wrote some sermon notes on it! Find em here.
