RESOLUTIONS
TAReccomends T HD Melbourne educates its chaverim about and encourages
communication with Habonim Doror Olami. This specifically relates to chaverim
and Kenim worldwide not merely the office in Israel. Forging closer international
ties as an exciting advance for habonim Dror.
TAReccomends T HD Melbourne acts upon the resolution passed previously that each year level chooses to support a community based project or charity organization.
This Asepha Resolves that HD the 13 Habo principles become more central to the way we view and express our place in the Melbourne Jewish community and the wider world. While 4 platforms are our inspiration and provide us with something for which to strive, the 13 principles articulate what it means to be a member of Habonim Dror, in order to give an understanding to parents and the wider community this fact, we suggest that a copy of the 13 principles and the four platforms be sent out in the mail outs.
This Asepha Reccomends that HD Melbourne takes a more active stand on its Judaism platform by incorporating jewsih texts into all chaggim and incorporating Parshiot Ha'Shavuah into Havdallah at the end of senior meetings. This will enrich and substantiate our own understanding of Judaism.
This Asepha Reccomends that HD Melbourne should make an effort to visit
religious religious groups.
We should expand knowledge of Islam & Christianity.
