Dear Epilepsy Support Group of Newcastle,
Thank you so much for your valued support of Epilepsy Action Australia. You
have generously fundraised for us in the past and we greatly appreciate your
compassion and drive.
Your donation has helped many Australians including Jazman Allen, who at 11
is sadly a familiar sight in intensive care. Jazman experiences seizures
that can last almost two hours and only stop with general anesthetic.
Since her parents made contact, we have provided Epilepsy Awareness Training
at Jazman's school so her teachers and fellow pupils know exactly what to do
when she has a seizure. We also send our quarterly Epilepsy360 magazine to
the Allen family so they are kept up to date with the latest information on
epilepsy.
It's only with the support of individuals like yourself that Epilepsy Action
Australia is able to provide families like Jazman's with the support that
they deserve - so once again thank you for showing that you care.
