RULES AND PLAYERS

Got to know what you're doing before you can do it

The Rules

C.A.R.D began on the whim of it's creator, Jetster (me) as a fanfiction site, or Otaku Senshi series, Otaku Senshi being a fan-created term for original Senshi that they have created for the world of the series Sailor Moon. After a few sets of critique and my own love of my original characters, I broke away from the Sailor Moon world and created my own unique series.

It is a story about four normal Australian girls, all who have never met each other and don't even live in the same states, who are transported by Cheshire Cats to a strange organisation called "C.A.R.D.", standing for "Chance's Agents of Revealing Destiny" and then transform into Agents Spades, Diamonds, Hearts and Clubs. Each totes a gun and communication devices, attaching them as Agents of the organisation. The only problem is that they don't know what the organisation does, why they want the four of them, or exactly what they're meant to be doing.

As the series progresses, we witness romance, heartbreak, sisterhood, loss, creation, sacrifice, travel of another sort and the revealations of deep, dark secrets- not only those of the characters, but the nature of the universe itself.

Due to the violence, use and abuse of drugs, sexual references and scenes, and the notion of small children and teenagers carrying and using guns featured in the series, it is reccomended that people 15 years and over ONLY read the series. If you choose to ignore this, you do so at your own risk. People who are offended by these themes should also avoid reading the series, as I offer no apologies for what I write, it is my creation and if you don't like it, you don't have to read it.

I also do not own or claim copyright of "Alice in Wonderland" or "Alice's Adventures Through the Looking Glass", as well as its characters despite these stories being Public Domain- these are the thoughts and writings of the late Charles Dodgeson, also known as Lewis Carrol. I DO however, claim ownership of any characters who are not of these, not to mention any characters who take the names of these characters but are quite different in their personality. I also claim ownership to their histories which do not feature in the book. Anything which seems new to you is mine. Stealing these is a form of plagirism and against the law. Not to mention uncreative of yourself. If you are inspired by this series, by all means create your own, but do not use my storyline and concepts (while I can not claim copyright of an idea however, it is much more original to create your own isn't it?). I have put a lot of thought and effort into these and would appreciate if you treated them with respect.

Please enjoy reading the series.

The Players

C.A.R.D. series is a bit of an epic, and so like any good book it often needs editing and comments from someone other than its author.
I have enlisted the help of five talented writers, all with their own, different backgrounds, but all well versed in the world of fiction. It's a hard job and I'm in their eternal debt for the wonderful work they do.

Lorelei
Lorelei is the writer of popular Otaku Senshi series "Sanctum" (My newest sister site!) featuring her own Senshi, Sailor Syrin among others. Also the writer of a more mature series, Lorelei has been around the Sailor Moon and Otaku Senshi community for a few years now and has earned a place as a respected figure in the english speaking communities. Also a talented artist and the owner of dolling site "Magic Lessons", I'm very thankful to have someone as talented as Lorelei on my beta team.

Blessed Bee
Bee has a critical eye and great ideas, so I'm glad to have her as one of my beta readers. Her Otaku Senshi series (not yet written, though there are some profiles) "Ashita no Yakusoku" features the Princess Senshi, and is a parody on her and her own friends. It is a series not meant to be taken seriously, but when written it's sure to be fantastic.

Sabrina
I've known Sabrina for quite a while from through my friend Bunny (author of "Crystal Sailor Warriors"). Although she currently has no website, Sabrina is quite talented and has been around fiction long enough to know her stuff. Friendly and always up to give a hand to a friend, It's a good thing that I was lucky enough to get her as a beta reader for my series.

Himeno
A prominent voice in the Otaku Senshi and Sailor Moon community, Himeno is a stickler for details and is probably one of the most knowledgable people you will ever meet on the subject. Writer of the well known series "Frozen Fire : Liquid Flame" and owner of the even more well known Otaku Senshi Sailor Caloris, along with Sailors Sa, Xiao and Mucai, Himeno is highly respected in the community as a talented writer and a fountain of knowledge on just about everything. Although often a little to busy to beta for me, it's a pleasure to have Himeno on my team and in exchange I'm more than happy to beta for FF:LF.

Elvy
I met Elvy through a place called Host Club RPG, where I very quickly became friends with her. One day we randomly began talking about each other's stories and decided to become 'writing buddies' - I be a hard-ass critic about her work and she does the same for me. Being the second person to tell me that I should move the story to being an original piece rather than fanfiction, I finally got off my bum to start working out how to get things done without involving Sailor Moon in them, and voila. Reading her work I can tell you she's extremly talented, and a hard worker at the RPG. Thank you Elvy!!!
