| As you can see, to get the correct belt tension with this location, the oil filler cap fouls on the regulator. I've since remade the bracket (again) and the only way to stop the squealing belt was to move it further back. I've had to buzz a bit off the tips of the filler cap to allow its removal when the alternator is in place. The wiring is all neat and out of the way, and more to the point everything works! |
