| The best way to remove the pulley nut is to clamp the rotor poles CAREFULLY and use a 24mm socket. The alternator shaft is keyed for an allen key but with the recessed pulley you can't use it and a socket. Besides which, the pulley nut will be stuck very fast and the shaft is soft and likely to let go of the allen key. |
