Description of Viva the band music styles
Viva's performances gives the listener the benefit of listening to the normal fare of Jazz, Swing and up-beat Latin music plus International music that has been developed by the bands lifelong experiences and overseas music engagements, for example, it's nice to hear a piece of music that inspired the band whilst they were in France such as La Vien Rose or Under Paris Skies, their music is authentic and the listener could easily imagine themselves to be in Paris listening to a local band playing popular Edith Piaf tunes and romantic cafe' tunes. Other examples are the bands tunes include: It Had To Be You, Stardust, In the Mood and many classic standards popularized by Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald

Viva the band (quintet) is a line up of male vocalist/conga player, female vocalist/percussion player, Spanish guitar, Flute, Accordion, Bass and drums
The band is unique in that, they perform the standard repertoire of Jazz and swing music, they also perform eclectic European and French music in a cabaret style. Viva the band also perform Latin and Salsa music from Cuba, Argentine, Spain and Brazil
The band often appear at International music events and festivals. Locally they often perform at Darling Harbour, Manly, Queensland, most Local Council festivals and multicultural events throughout Sydney
