My Arcade Machine

I was going to post this as I was making it, but then got caught up in it all and just ended up making it!
This is my new arcade machine I built. It took me about 1-2 weeks and maybe all up about $400 (excluding the computer and monitor).

I based the design on the original Pacman Cocktail style and altered a few things.

Here are some pics of it in progress.

The pieces before construction

The pieces all cut out and clamped together

I have also recently added in speakers and a subwoofer inside and also a coin slot that accepts 20 cent pieces in the door. Also, some inside buttons for reset and all that.

Japan

Well, it is about a week left till Warwick and I leave for Japan.
We are going for about 4 months to the Gala Ski Resort in Niigata.
A few months ago we applied to go work there through a program called boobooSki and we were successful and are now finally on our way there!

My wallet is feeling a lot lighter now after buying all the things we need to go...
These include a snowboard (boots, bindings, covers, etc)... I've gone with the Force Skitz. Hopefully it wont die on me while im over there.

More news to come. We are leaving Monday 28th November.

And now for something completely different

You may know I like my flash animations...
Well from the same people (i think) who brought us SHINBASHI, I have found another.

Kikkoman

Does anyone else remember Maiyahi-, maiyahu-, etc? Well this one has the same concept, take a song in a foreign language, and let it be words in your language...

Yatta

Anyone else got any weird ones?

Posting....? Whats that?

Whats the point of having a webpage if you never update it... Well I think it is about time for an update!!!

It has been more than half a year since I last updated it. Just recently, I found this cool website that has this sheet music by Mozart called the "Mirror Canon". There is also a second one too.
This mirror canon, is a duet for violins which can be read upside down and the right way up. All you have to do, is put the music on the table or something flat so both of you can read each side. Very odd.. Mozart must have had a bit of spare time on his hands!

Speaking of cannons, I have successfully created the 2nd prototype for a custom made ball for my lemon cannon. The main issue was that when we shot it a night time, we often lost the ball.... or lemon... or whatever we were shooting. So, I found a stress ball and made holes in it and inside the ball I put some kind of flashing LED thing so that the ball would glow and we could find it.

Main issue: the stress ball is kind of melting from the explosions.... but it still goes very far. Any ideas to solve my issue?
