Sorry everyone that I haven't written for a while. I have been busy!
Today is now the first day back at school and I have moved to a new home room and building. For the next few days we will be doing preparation for a new room and other things like that. Today we finished at 10:00 and didn't do much for the short time in the morning. We had an assembly in the gym and met the new teachers and a new exchange student from Canada.
On friday, I went with Mark (Australia) and Fernando (Mexico) to Gotenba to visit Lalo (Mexico). Fer and I stayed the night, but Mark had to go home for his town's festival. The next day we took the train to Kofu where Mika (America) and Franzi (Germany) live. We came to see their town's festival. The festival was about this powerful man who ran this battle against another section of Japan (I think) and they showed the march to the war. It was all very interesting and the costumes were fantastic, but it rained a bit and we all got wet. We ate dinner at the festival stalls and I had a kebab! (The Kebab guy was nice tho).
The next day we had to get home but it ended up costing us 5000 yen (about $70) to get back. By the end, I had 1000 yen (about $14) left and Fernando had 100 yen ($1.40)! Just enough. Thats about it!
