His ashes were scattered at "Heatherlea", Romsey.

Inherited father's money when about 20 and started off living life in a very grand and lavish style, according to Nanny Richardson reminiscences.
Her granddaughter (Mary Moore) remembers Elizabeth saying that she used to deliberately drop her hankie to make the butler or footman pick it up and hand it back to her on a silver tray!
