Cathys "American Brownie" Slices
The following Ingredients will make 1 tray of American Brownies
American
Brownie
250g Butter
1/2 Cup Cocoa
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
4 Eggs
1 Cup Plain Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence (or powder)
Glaze
250ml Cream
375mg Dark Chocolate
3~5 Table Spoons Butter
Preparation
Melt
butter in a saucepan large enough to mix all the
ingredients. Mix in cocoa. Remove from the heat and stir
in sugar. Add eggs and beat well using a wooden spoon.
Add flour and baking powder into mixture and stir well.
Add vanilla essence/powder and mix to combine. Pour into
a greased 20x30cm baking tin. Bake at 180C/355F for 25~30
minutes or until it springs back when lightly touched.
Let cool then glaze. Cut into bars while still warm, then
place into a container and put into the fridge.
It's easy to make and really yummy to eat.!!
