Ann PERRING (i); Christen Sep 1773 in Harberton, Devon, UK. Day unclear on Baptism record.
Mary PERRING (i); Born About 1780. Christen 20 Feb 1780 in Harberton, Devon, UK.

John PERRING.

He married Jane JONES, daughter of Lewis and Mary JONES, 19 October 1803 in Harberton, Devon, UK. Born about 1771. Christened, Jan 1770 in Harberton, Devon, UK. Marriage Witnesses John WYATT and George Clay. The Jones family must have moved to a neighbouring parish for a while. The researcher suspects that Lewis Jones and Mary are Lewis Jones and Mary Hannaford that married in Harberton in 1753. There is no proof of this at the moment, but the suspicion is that they moved to one of the neighbouring parishes having had a Mary Jones in 1753 in Harberton. It is possible that they are the parents of a Lewis Jones born about 1754 whose baptism cannot be found in the Harberton records. The suspicion is that Lewis Jones and Mary Hannaford then returned to the parish having there Jane and Susannah baptised. There is a marriage record of a Lewis Jones marrying a Joannah Andrews in 1779 possibly the son born about 1754 that no baptism can be found for.

Lewis JONES. Noted as aged 73 yrs on Burial record. He married Mary. They had the following children:

ii. Susanna JONES; Born About 1775. Christened, 15 Apr 1775 in Harberton, Devon, UK.

Jane JONES. Daughter of Lewis JONES & Mary. Born about 1771. Christened, Jan 1770 in Harberton, Devon, UK. Baptism Record not clear. Unable to identify day only month and Year of baptism. In 1841 living in East Leigh. Aged 70 yrs.

She married John PERRING (i), son of Richard PERRING & Grace, 19 Oct 1803 in Harberton, Devon, UK. Born about 1771. Christen 3 Aug 1771 in Harberton, Devon, UK.
