AUXILIARY TABLE for MILL/DRILL Etc Pg 3

From end to end it's pretty darn parallel, going good so far.

Just finished a full face cut, hand feeding slowly from one end to the other took quite some time, not to mention patience. I am definately thinking of purchasing the table feed accessory in the future.

Close up of cutter as used above. I just bolted a scrap piece of steel to the bottom of my large fly-cutter body and fitted a brazed tipped shank tool at the end.

There are 20, M8x1.25mm holes in the face. Here I am drilling the holes in the sides, they will be also M8x1.25mm.

Slotting the edge stop plate which is a piece of bright mild steel. I set a dial indicator when I started each slot so I could widen the slot a little each way, I don't want any binding on the clamp bolts.

Edge stop plate in place. The finished size of the top surface is 285mm(11.220") long by 149mm(5.866") wide. Small jobs will be much easier to clamp down to this table than to the main mill table.

3 holes in each end being drilled.
