FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICE

WHO ARE WE?

Manly Warringah Pittwater Family Support Service is funded by the Community Services Grants Project to work with families who have children.

It includes a separate service for young mothers and their children.

Facilities are shared with the Women's Resource Centre. Their direct telephone number is: 9971 4499.

WHO CAN USE THE SERVICE?

If you are a family with children and feel you need some practical or emotional support we can help.

WHAT CAN WE DO?

We try to help families with whatever problems they have at a particular time.

You may relate to some of the following:

• Do you have relationship or family conflict?
• Do you feel lonely and would like to meet other women with children?
• Would you like to know more about your child's development or improve your parenting skills?
• Do you need help with filling in forms, budgeting or legal problems?
• Are stresses from housing or health problems making it hard to cope?

These are just some of the issues that we may be able to assist with. If we can't help we try and get you in touch with someone more appropriate.
