Poetry
Without You
You were my sun rising over the
horizon,
You were my sea flowing to the shore.
To others you were only a friend,
But to me you were much more. You were the sun on a gloomy morning,
Brightening my day,
But as quick as lightening blinds the eye,
God carried you away. You were the birds chirping in the treetops,
You were a rainbow glittering in the rain.
You created a smile on my face,
And washed away all my pain. When you left my world fell to pieces,
I didn’t know what to do,
For I feared I could not go on any more,
If I had to live life without you.
