Profile

I  currently reside in Melbourne,  Australia and have been doing so since the mid 80's, after uprooting myself from a small country town existence.  Whilst I have always produced art in many forms over the years,  I've only recently decided to pursue a full time career in art.

I have been painting for over 20 years, using a range of different mediums. My style has fluctuated from being purely realistic and detailed to symbolic and expressionistic. Currently I am venturing forth into the world of children's book illustrating - learning new techniques and mediums, and delving ever deeper into my imagination.

Through going to Bible College and then following this with International Development studies, my passion for justice has been  reinforced . A s a consequence, the images that are forming in my mind and the art that is pouring out of me, is framed by this passion - a desire to use my art to advocate on behalf of others.
