One, Second, …, 2002 Mixed Media Installation, /slide projector, 35 mm film slide of the world time zone map, twenty-four mechanic clocks/
The installation consists of a slide projector that screens an image of the World Time Zone Map (as shown above) on a wall with twenty-four mechanical clocks lined on the bottom side of the map presenting each time zone with the particular time.
The sound-experience of the installation reaches its climax when the chaos of the ticking clocks collapses into a brief moment of complete synchronisation lasting for just one second.
