The Common Mynah Introduced in the 1890s in Melbourne and later in NSW and N.Queensland this bird has thrived near human habitation, and can cause considerable damage to native birds, killing chicks.
Size: 23-25 cm
Voice: varied, noisy.
Nesting Ecology: Roosts colonially in shade trees, often thousands of birds.
Australian Distribution: Down the east coast around population centres.
