| The
Grey Butcherbird is not very common in the Penrith area, but adults are sometimes seen in suburban gardens and along the river-side. This juvenile has been visiting my garden for the past few weeks, I have not seen any adults with it. |
| Size: 24-30 cm |
| Voice: Loud piping noises, sits on top of clothes airer and calls. |
| Nesting Ecology: Untidy nest of twigs in saplings or small tree. Jul-Jan |
| Australian Distribution:
Widespread but patchy south of the Tropic, common in Tas. |
