THE LAST LULLABY

"I'm sorry, but there just isn't any other way to tell you.

The Shadows have returned.

Charlotte Bradbury, Sally Carter, Bradley Bennett and his poor dead brother Michael - these four inocents have felt their wrath.

Remember the pact we made fifteen years ago, after winning the battle against the Darkness?

Never would another child suffer as we suffered the hellish attacks of the monsters of Closetland, as long as we were alive to stop them.

If we are to keep our promise and defeat them again, we must return together to the world of Childhood Terror."

- A Horror/Mystery Freeform for 12 adults based in Key 20's 'Little Fears' universe.

MIDNIGHT MACHINATION: EVOLUTION

Night One: Another strange dream melted away with the sunlight. However this time I left something behind, a
drawing of
three doors designed as if by a child’s hand, scrawled on the wall at the head of my bed.

Night Two: Have drawn another four doors in a style that seems to remind me of something bad that happened a long time ago. No time to think about that, had to clear it away before my room mate sees them and thinks I’ve lost it.

Night Three: Woke to find five doors staring at me from the ceiling. Either this is some strange elaborate prank or I have a bad habit I seriously need to lose. Will leave them there to defy myself or the art student who has no real
imagination.

Night Four: Three doors greeted me this morning, needless to say making me late for class, and giving me a panic attack (and a cleaning bill) to boot. Annoyed my room mate with an unwarranted verbal attack. I don’t want to go back to therapy, they can’t make me.

Night Five: No doors. Their absence makes me nervous as hell. It was fifteen years ago I saw that door in a place that no longer exists for me, despite what Theodore says.

Night Six: I am trapped, enclosed by the fifteen doors I drew over the course of four nights - exact same style, in exactly the same places.

Fifteen years of pain trying desperately to forget, fifteen doors challenging me to remember...

I think He's Back...

For the first time, fifteen years ago, twelve adults breached The Boogeyman's Chamber of Hell - now it's time for the fallout.

- MM:E is the Horror/Mystery sequel to The Last Lullaby for 12 adults.

MIDNIGHT MACHINATION: EXTINCTION

An eerie silence has decended upon the insidious realm of Closetland, as it watches and waits, the focus strangely bent in upon itself...

A parasitic battle is coming to fruition, the struggle unseen and unknown, outside of the walls of it's battlefield...

For the sixteen whose fate has become intertwined with that of the realm of Childhood Terror and it's master, a chapter is closing.

And for the next generation, a new one is beginning...

It is to be His rebirth...it is to be His last terrible breath...

Midnight Machinations: Extinction heralds the end of The Last Lullaby series.
