The Legends of Earthstone: The truth
at last?
Since before history was recorded magic has held the realm of Earthstone together.
Through invasions, rebellions, and internal wars the High Court has steered
a safe course.
But now the war of deception has ripped the alliances apart. The realm is
in the grip of chaos, because both these constants have failed.
Now the truth will come out, one way or another.
The High Court has gathered in closed session to hear the truth.
But will it save the planet, or bring the High Throne to its knees?
The cast has been set at 18 players. This game will run only once. This will
be the final Earthstone freeform at this stage.
While this game was going to run at Conquest 2007, time and the desire for good quality have pushed it back to 2008.
Conquest 2006 results
Conquest 2006's freefrom ran only once and didn't completely fill its cast, which was a pity. I'll post a complete list of players and the results at another point. But the game involves 18 Wizards having discovered that all forms of magic are parts of chaos magic, much like colored lights are part of white light. The subtext of the game was a study on addiction.

Conquest 2005 Results
At Conquest 2005 we ran the "Might is Right" Freeform twice over the weekend. The game ran well and I hope all the players involved had a great time. Some of the fall out from the plots will be entered into the mythology, and in at least one case has caused a big change to my plotlines. I've updated the character list below to add in the names of the people that played, and who got blocks of wood or bits of papers. (If I've misspelt any names please feel free to let me know and I'll fix that.)
For those who didn't play, the game was set on Central Island, and invovled a meeting between 6 of the most powerful Warpspawn, and 12 Garnresh warriors, from several different tribes. In effect it was like running 3 games at the same time. (One for 6 spawn, one for 12 Garnresh, and one for 18 bullies.) The game also dealt with the plots around why the Garnresh have warred against the Humans in the south and Zendarie in the north for so long.

Other Earthstone games run to date are:
Tydern's court - A fortnightly run campaign freeform run socially. This ran for about a year, give or take.
The Legends of Earthstone - A fortnightly role playing game run socially. This has run for several years and is still going.
The Legends of Earthstone - Freeforms run at Conquest from 1999 to 2003. Which Include a couple of sessions involving the High Court, (much like Tydern's court) one involving the Great houses of the Northern realm. One set in a tavern called Last Call. One set in the Warpspawn command called the Right of Might.
The Legends of Earthstone - In defence of the realm. A 2 session role playing game run at Conquest 2004, which involved a plot to assassinate an Ambassador to the High Court.
