Winning entries from the 1999 Jack Stamm competition
The paper wasp Jack Stamm haiku contest honours the memory of the American haiku poet Jack Stamm, a long term resident of Japan, judge of the Japan Air Lines World Children's Haiku Contest, and a founding member of paper wasp.
Congratulations to all entrants - the quality of work submitted was high, and the judges had to exercise all their experience and skill to sort and select the best of the best.
