Granville Pool - Before and After

The following photos show what the same area at Granville Pool looked just before been closed for redevelopment and what the same area looks like today.

The shutters in the original entrance have been replaced with new windows and doors.
The turnstiles and counter have been removed from the old entrance and the area is now a very pleasant meeting room.
The "babies pool has covered and now is used to store rain water which is used for watering the pool's gardens and for flushing toilets.
The old pump house and grandstand have been removed. This has allowed one of the bowling greens to be incorporated into the pool area.
The old clubroom has been demolished and replaced with the new foyer area.
The "old pool" has been shortened to 25m and the "deep end" now contains the pool's surge tanks, filters and pumps.
The "new pool" is now the main 50m pool at Granville.
Notice there are no more gutters as now all pools have wet-deck edging.
