Parramatta City
Swim Club hold free lessons for students from students of all abilities. Lessons
for "non-swimmers" are
conducted from 9.30am Saturday all year round except for a couple of weeks
at Easter and Christmas/New Year.
Lessons usually take between 30 and 45 minutes and
can vary because of the weather, the size of the class, class ability and the
age of the pupils.
All our instructor are qualified
AUSTSWIM Teachers of Swimming and
Water Safety, the
nationally recognised qualification for learn to swim teachers.
Children must be at least 4 years old to join in the lessons. Adult lessons
are also available.
To enrol
in Parramatta City Swim Club's Learn to Swim, turn up at 9.15am on
Saturday morning at Granville Pool
*Lessons are free once you become Registered
with NSW Swimming. Registration provides you with both public liability and
personal accident insurance. Registration for 2007-2008 is $12.50 for the year which
begins on 1st October 2007. You must Register within two weeks of your first lesson..
Lessons for
Advanced Learn to Swimmers (Blue Group) are held on Saturday mornings from 8.30am and one or two evenings during
the week. Registration for 2007-2008 for these pupils is $27.00
