The presentation
for the 2004 Winter season was held on Sunday 21st November on the banks
of Berowra Creek at Crosslands Reserve, Hornsby Heights. The weather was
cloudy, with a sprinkling of rain towards the end of the day. |

As with the previous presentation, the hit of the
afternoon was the two small boats. It seems everyone's
rowing skills had improved somewhat since the last picnic. Even so,
a couple of girls managed to get themselves tangled up in a tree and
needed a little help getting themselves free.. |

Not surprisingly, the other hit of the day was
toasting marshmallows over the open fire. It's amazing how fast a couple
of packets of marshmallows can disappear when descended upon by a pack of
hungry swimmers. |
|
This year the points score was a very close with
only 9 points separating the first seven swimmers, and with only one point
between each of the first four places. in the end 1st was Garth Horder (128 points),
2nd Liza Greig (127 points), 3rd Samantha Horlyck (126 points) and 4th
Betty Horlyck (125 points)..
The Girls Open Champion was Nicole Horlyck while
Chris Hale was the Open Champion for the Boys
