Altered Postcards

You know those free postcards you collect at coffee shops and book shops? If you are anything like me, you always grab a handful of the pretty ones. Well, here's what to do with them - alter them! Then, of course, post them to someone who will enjoy them!

I have three here so far - interestingly enough, two featuring movie action heroes. Just a coincidence, I assure you. I am WAY too busy and important to spend my time ogling at the movies.

Here, I have mainly used the postcards as backgrounds. It's a start. Legolas' head is covering up an anachronistic boat.Yes, of course a spoon would have worked better, but I had a stamp of a fork (check Studio Astarte for stamps this cool...). The alphabets are from Stampers Anonymous (first one), and Zettiology (other two).

The first card was sent to a Star Wars fan, the second to a Lord of the Rings fan (she wanted to know what could be cooler than Orlando Bloom as Legolas), and the third ... well, certainly not to an old chook!
