GORDIE

Male Poodle X Spaniel

Aged approx. 2 years

Medium size

Gordie is looking for a very special home because he suffers with separation anxiety. Gordie has been in foster care with a dog trainer for a long period of time. His trainer has been walking Gordie for two hours a day everyday rain, hail or shine, plus he has time on the doggy treadmill and still has more energy left in his tank. Gordie has also been taken to training classes in the local area and is excelling because he is a very smart dog who learns everything asked of him quickly. Gordie's foster carer/trainer now feels that he is as ready as he will ever be to go on to a new home. We want his new home to be forever and not just another step in the wrong direction as has been the case in Gordie's past life. Gordie's trainer believes that a home on a dog safe property on acreage with other dogs to play and exercise with will suit him as he does do well in a pack situation. A suburban block of land with a fence all around is not going to suit Gordie at all as he will become bored and bark and be a very unhappy dog. Gordie's new owners must also be 'home bodies' not working people because his anxiety levels are raised when he is without his humans. An active retiree, single person or couple is going to work best for Gordie and of course it goes without saying that he must always have access to his humans via a doggy door or similar 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Gordie has a beautiful temperament and loves playing with his toys and doggy friends. It is going to take someone who is very committed to Gordie's routine and exercise program so a home with someone experienced will be the best for him moving forward. Gordie has a high maintenance coat that will require regular clipping and grooming.

Gordie comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). If you would like more information on Gordie, please email Denise using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check Denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www.paws.com.au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption.

GWEN AND STEFFIE

Female Purebred Long Haired Chihuahuas

Aged approx. 9 and 8 years

Small size

Gwen and Steffie have had a bit of a rough road over the past couple of months but it is great to see that they are now really starting to turn a corner! After being saved from a long stay in the Pound and then having several major operations, these two sweet girls are coming out of their shell and would make delightful company for any loving owner. Although they might be small in size they are big in affection, Steffie in particular will be straight on your lap for cuddles any moment you take to put your feet up, while Gwen will appreciate any neck scratch or chin rub you can spare the time to give. These two dogs love being outdoors investigating and again, although small in size. can easily go for a 2 kilometre walk and still have energy to bounce around the house all day! Gwen is a creature of habit being quite an old dog as she likes her things in their place and doesn't like change. She sleeps in her dog basket every night, isn't interested in being on the furniture (beds or sofa) and mostly keeps herself to herself, although is very appreciate of affection and love if you go to her. Steffie is definitely the more bouncy of the two and will follow you round all day long looking for tummy rubs, then be on the sofa with you falling asleep on your belly or jumping round like a bouncy ball to greet you every time you get home from work. Due to these two dogs turbulent past, please expect them to take up to two weeks to get used to a new home. You will probably find they won't want to interact with you at the beginning and this is to be expected due to their ever changing surroundings recently, so don't be alarmed if they show no interest in forming a bond for a little while. They are best left by themselves and not rushed into affection as this can evoke a scared reaction from them to people they don't know due to unfamiliar territory. For this reason, these dogs would not be suitable for a home with young children (under the age of 16) or an environment with either other cats or dogs. These two dogs really need their prospective new owner to win their trust. At first Steffie can be very standoffish and quite frankly a bit snappy BUT she has proven on several occasions that, if you take the time to win her round, she will quickly become your best friend and start to follow you round for cuddles and lots of love. These two little dogs act as fantastic guard dogs, being quite noisy when they think the house is being approached (but not at any other time). They are more than happy being left in each other's company during the day so could go to a home with either a single or a couple who work full time but they still must have the time to give them a minimum of a 20-30 minute walk every day (if not ideally twice) and lots of love and attention in the evenings and weekends. Fully house trained, these two are a dream when it comes to toilet habits! Due to these dogs being the adventurous type and very small, you must ensure that all fencing is properly secured otherwise these two can double up as doggy escape artists!

Gwen and Steffie come desexed, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention for the special adoption fee of $500 THE PAIR and this includes their collar and harness. Gwen and Steffie are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT) and have also both had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic) and hernia removal. If you would like more information on Gwen and Steffie, please email Denise using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check Denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www.paws.com.au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption.

CASSANDRA

Female Silky Terrier X Maltese

Aged approx. 8 years

Small size

Cassandra is a wonderful little dog with a huge personality that came to us from the  Pound a very sick little girl, mostly due to neglect by her previous owner. With the help of vets,  generous donations from members of the public, her foster carer's dedication and Cassandra’s fighting spirit she is now ready to go to a new home.  Cassandra came from the Pound with a huge bladder stone that had been left untreated but it has been removed and her bladder is working normally now.  Cassandra was also diagnosed with a liver shunt making her feel very unwell so surgery was done at SASH (Small Animal Specialist Hospital) to tie the shunt off. She has recovered from that surgery and is off all medication now. Cassandra is on a normal diet and will require monitoring by a vet annually to make sure her good health is maintained. She would love a new home with a family who have another small dog for company as she lives with children and other dogs in her foster home and gets along well with them.  Cassandra is able to go to the park and on walks just like any other dog and is a house dog so we would like her to have indoor access at all times via a doggy door or similar. Cassandrea's coat will grow and require regular grooming to keep her comfy.

HOLLY

Female Purebred Maltese

Aged approx. 8 years

Small size

Holly is a tiny little girl with a very cute and funny personality an who loves nothing better than to sit alongside you on the couch or, even better, on your lap getting lots of cuddles. When you pick Holly up she will 'speak' to you which sounds like a growl but isn't as it's just her way of talking to you. Holly needs a special home with a retired couple or single person who has plenty of time for her and it doesn't matter if she is an only dog providing she has lots of quality time with her humans. Holly enjoys going out for little walks and gets along well with the other small dogs she is in foster care with. Holly is a house dog that is house trained and she does require access to the home via a doggy door or similar. Holly has a coat that will grow and require regular clipping to keep her looking and feeling great.

LOLA

Female Purebred Maltese

Aged approx. 6 years

Small size

Lola is a sweet and lovely little dog that was underweight, timid and very frightened when she went into foster care and her previous owners delivered Lola and her mate in the boot of their car!  They had both lived outside all of their previous lives and were extremely neglected. We  put an end to Lola's misery and had all of her vet needs attended to immediately. She was groomed and bathed and is now happy in foster care. Lola's teeth were rotten so they all had to be removed but she copes very well without them and can eat most things. Lola loves being doted on and has a best friend Sophia who belongs to Lola's foster carer. Sophia is also a little Maltese and they are great company for each other. snuggling up together on the bed and couch. Lola loves going outside into the garden for a sniff and if any birds are about she will chase them until they fly away. Lola would be best suited to a quieter home without small children and one with access to the house via a doggy door or similar. A doggy mate for company is also a must as she does not like to be on her own. Lola is going well with her house training and lead training but will need a patient owner who doesn't expect her to jump through hoops. Lola is a house dog with a coat that will require regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling great.

TEMPORARILY WITHDRAWN

SANDY

Female Chihuahua X

Aged approx. 12 months

Small size

Sandy is a very timid and scared little dog at the moment but is coming around a little and not running away when approached as she was doing on first coming into care. She has even started playing with the other dogs in her foster home which is very good! Sandy does love the company of other dogs and will need another dog for companionship in her new home. She loves to eat, loves to go exploring in the garden and sleeps all night long in her bed. Sandy is clever and is learning from her foster carer that the world is a good place. She is a house dog and will be available for adoption once her confidence has grown.

Sandy
comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $425 and the adoption fee includes her collar and harness. ARCHIE

Male Terrier X

Aged approx. 18 months

Small size

Archie is a VERY playful little boy with a cheeky yet loving demeanour. He has progressed exceptionally well during his short time in foster care so far, arriving a little sore and timid following treatment after being hit by a car. Through gentle play and walks Archie has grown stronger everyday, both physically and psychologically showing no or very minimal signs of injury now. He is steadily progressing on his house training and has begun to follow basic commands. As a learning puppy, Archie is also working on his socialisation skills with other dogs, being inquisitive and friendly towards most other dogs at this point. He is always up for a game or tummy rub and as a young dog he requires a good amount of mental stimulation, exercise and pats! Archie has also just had his coat clipped for summer and as his hair grows to a medium length it will require continual grooming. A house with another small dog (no big dogs as they may jump on his spine) and with owners that can provide a lot of attention, adequate exercise and love would be ideal for Archie. Once a level of trust is established between Archie and his carer, he proves to be a very loyal and fun-loving companion.

Archie comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention, with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $425 and the adoption fee includes his collar and harness. Archie is not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). If you would like more information on Archie, please email Denise using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. ESTELLE

Female Maltese X Silky Terrier

Aged approx. 2 years

Small size

Estelle is a sweet young miss that is affectionate and good natured. She is outgoing and friendly so charms  all those she meets when out and about. Estelle is playful and energetic but is a bit bossy with other dogs despite her size so would be better suited to go as the only dog in the family. She is happy going for walks and will need a daily walk but is also happy to sit by your side to watch the world go by so Estelle would make a great companion for an older person or someone who is semi-retired. She will need regular grooming and a good brush each day to keep her looking her best.

Estelle comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $425 and the adoption fee includes her collar and harness. Estelle is not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT) and has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic) and hernia repair. TEQUILA

Female Maltese X

Aged approx. 10 years

Small size

A golden oldie in the autumn years of life, Tequila would make a wonderful companion for an older person who wants a mate to sit by their side and watch the world go by. Or perhaps to listen to their worries, join them in a potter around the garden or a stroll to the shops. Tequila must be able to live inside and would be best suited to a home where she was the only dog. She is good natured and affectionate and has learnt to sit and stay. Like all of us when we get older. Tequila's joints aren't as good as when she was young and active but she has learnt to cope with this. Tequila has a long coat  that will need regular grooming.

Tequila comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention for the special adoption fee of $275. Tequila is not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT)  and has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). MAX

Male Maltese X

Aged approx. 12 months

Small size

Max is one cute little dude and is very, very smart!  Max went straight through the doggy door when he arrived at his foster carer's house and is house trained, walks well both on and off lead and always stays close to his carer.  Max is great with the cat and all other dogs he has come into contact with. He is also extremely playful and loves nothing more than having a pair of old socks to toss up in the air and catch in his mouth or to run and chase if they drop on the floor. Max is still very much a puppy so a home where some training will be implemented is essential.  He is such a good boy, sleeping all night long on his foster carer's bed without a peep and is a house dog so requires access to the house at all times. The ideal home for Max will be with a small, playful companion dog. He has a soft silky coat that will require regular grooming to keep him looking lovely.

Max comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention, with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $425 and the adoption fee includes his collar and harness. COOPER

Male Silky Terrier X

Aged approx. 12 months

Small size

Who would think that this loving little dog is the same one rescued from Hawkesbury Pound 3 weeks ago! When Cooper's foster carer picked him up he was an extremely timid, scared and skinny little dog who was afraid of the slightest noise and would not come near anybody, not even Bonny the gentle dog belonging to his carer. What a difference a few weeks have made as Cooper is now Bonny's shadow and they spend every moment together, even sharing the same bed where he sleeps all night long without a peep. Cooper has gained confidence and become a very loving and affectionate dog who enjoys following his humans around the house waiting for pats and treats. Cooper is still timid and afraid of loud noises at times but is improving in confidence every day. He is not walking outside on a lead just yet but with kind hands and positive reinforcement we don't expect it will be to long before he enjoys going for a walk. Cooper has a beautiful nature and will be someone's very devoted and loyal companion, everyday he blossoms into a more beautiful and loving little dog. Cooper has shown no sign of aggression at all towards adults, children or other dogs and only barks when someone comes to the front door. Cooper would love a home with another small, gentle and playful dog to cuddle up and sleep with when his owners are away from home. Cooper is a house dog and we would like him to have indoor access via a doggy door or similar in his new home. He has a coat that will require some grooming and clipping to keep him tidy.

BAILEY

Female Bichon X Poodle

Aged approx. 3 years

Small size

Bailey is a gentle girl who was a breeding dog but she has been desexed now and we just want her to have a lovely home. Bailey is very affectionate towards her humans, thoroughly enjoying cuddle time but can be unsure around strangers so a home with a quiet family with no small children who will be patient with her is a must. Bailey is in foster care with two small dogs and a cat and enjoys their company so a home with another small, gentle and friendly dog is essential and we will not rehome her as an only dog. Bailey enjoys an evening stroll and walks well on the lead. She is also house trained using a doggy door. Bailey has a beautiful nature and would be best suited to a family who are not away from the home for extended periods of time. She is a house dog and has a coat that will require regular grooming.

NIKKI

Female English Staffy X

Aged approx. 10 months

Small size

Nikki is a little 8kg bundle of love and energy that has lived a lot in her short  life. Nikki first arrived into care at 5 weeks of age after being found abandoned in a park with a broken leg and suffering from severe neglect. It has taken Nikki sometime to be ready for adoption but she has come a long way and we believe in the right hands will go a lot further. Nikki is not for the faint hearted! She is a boisterous little pocket rocket who just wants to run and play all day, everyday but she is also a very sweet and snuggly girl who loves cuddles and kisses. The best home for Nikki will be with an experienced dog owner who will maintain her behaviour, keep her very well socialised and give her plenty of exercise. Nikki currently gets a 40 minute walk in the morning and then goes out with a dog walker for a couple of hours during the day while her carer is at work.  A home without small children would be best for Nikki as she is a busy dog and may be too much for them. Nikki must have indoor access while her family is at home an is fully house and crate trained. She requires minimal grooming needing just a quick bath and brush every few weeks.

Jasper's foster carer can't believe that this little fellow is 10 years old as he is in foster care with a female Border Collie and a smaller dog and spends his time playing with both, although he does particularly enjoy rumbling with Marcie the Border Collie. Jasper is great with everyone he meets and sleeps on his foster carer's bed all night long without a peep. He enjoys his time at the local off leash park running around with the other dogs and he doesn't give up but just keeps on going! Jasper would like a home with another dog he can play with or a family who are home a lot. HUGO

Male Maltese X

Aged approx. 2 years

Small size

Hugo is an active happy young dog that is still a puppy really. He came into foster care a disgusting mess, covered in dirty dreadlocks and underneath that filthy coat was just this small, still rather wary pup longing to get out and have fun. Hugo possesses lots of energy and is still very skinny. He gets two large meals a day and has gained no weight because he runs it all off! Hugo's ideal day is to chase and play and have a short sleep to get ready for the next activity of high speed chasing. Hugo is house trained and likes to sleep at night under the dining room table on his rug. He goes to bed when told, enjoys your company and follows you round the house.  He also eats everything he can with gusto in about 30 seconds .... his dinner, meat, bones, veggies, dog bickies and even toys, socks and newspapers so you will need to rescue anything you don't want chewed as Hugo is still learning how to behave! He had never been for a walk and still finds the park a bit scary as it's so big although the footpath is alright.  He is used to being left alone when you go out but must have another active dog for a companion to play with and chase endlessly in large circles round and round the yard. Hugo would like to join a family who want to take the dogs for walks and play in the park or on the beach and get lots of exercise. He is a house dog with a coat that will grow and require ongoing grooming to keep him looking and feeling comfortable.

Hugo
comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention, with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $425 and the adoption fee includes his collar and harness. BAM

Male Shih Tzu X

Aged approx. 10 years

Small size

Bam was surrendered by his owner just before Christmas and it was the best present the previous owner could have given him as he was in dreadful condition at the time. Bam was taken immediately to the vet for a health check where he was found to have very painful abscessed teeth that were removed and his other teeth cleaned. He also had a large lump under his tail that was removed and sent away for pathology testing but fortunately for Bam the lump was benign. He also had his annual vaccination, heartworm test and then off to the groomers for a lovely bath and clip off. Bam now looks and feels a million dollars, has no more pain in his mouth and is in a happy place living with one of our foster carers and her dogs while he waits for his new home to come along. Bam doesn't want much, just a nice quiet home with someone who will take good care of him from now on and will be quite happy to live as an only dog. Bam is a house dog who requires indoor access via a doggy door or similar as he goes in and out to toilet at his foster home. Bam's coat will grow and require regular grooming and bathing to keep him looking and feeling great.

STARSKI

Female Jack Russell Terrier X

Aged approx. 2 years

Small size

Starski  was released from the Pound just before Christmas and it is a mystery to us why his owner didn't come for him as he is a very affectionate and playful boy whose eyes will melt even the toughest persons heart. Starski is an absolutely wonderful little dog whose ambition in life is to make all humans happy all of the time. He lives with a family who have four young children and loves them all including the youngest child who is almost 2 years old. Starski enjoys his daily walks and will tell you in his own special way that it's time to go. He has great recall and will always stick close or come back when called. Starski lives on the river at the moment and enjoys spending time at the water's edge playing with the children and the other dogs. He is working hard on his manners with the cats in his foster home and can't understand why they don't want to play with him like his doggy pals do!  Starski is a great little watchdog that sits by the door when visitors come. Once he knows they are friends he relaxes and waits for lots of pats from all who enter his foster home. Starski is great in the car and his carer thinks he is a very smart little dog who has learnt the rules of the house very quickly. He can open doors and will be a quick learner for anyone wanting to teach him some tricks. All in all, Starski is a great all-rounder that would enjoy life with a family who won't leave him alone for hours on end and who have a doggy pal for him to play with.  Starski has a low maintenance coat that requires a brush and bath once a week and is a house dog so must have indoor access via a doggy door or similar.

MIKKY

Male Poodle X Maltese

Aged approx. 7 years

Small size

Mikky was surrendered as his owner is now in a nursing home and the family did not want him. Mikky is an older dog who still has heaps of energy so the ideal home will be with a family who enjoy going on walks to the park or around the neighbourhood. Mikky would also suit a retired couple who want a constant companion as he does love his humans and enjoys spending lots of time with them. He is also very good with children and greets them with great excitement. Mikky goes out walking everyday with his foster carer and is great on lead, not taking any notice of other dogs and cats along the way. Mikky is a 'cuddle bunny' and does like to curl up next to his carer when she is relaxing on the couch. He also sleeps all night long on the end of her bed, not making a sound until morning. Mikky is a house dog that is house trained and would love a home where he is going to stay forever. He has a coat that will grow and require ongoing grooming to keep him looking great.

NAV

Male Pomeranian X Maltese

Aged approx. 2 years

Small size

Nav is a very pretty little boy who came into the Pound as quite a nervous dog however since going into foster care with two other small dogs his personality has emerged and his foster carer has found him to be a happy and very playful dog who loves toys. We think that Nav may have been tormented by young children in his previous home as he is afraid of them so a home without young children will be the best. Nav would like another young dog for companionship in his new home or a family who will not leave him on his own all day while they go to work or otherwise out of the home as he will bark if left alone for long periods of time. Nav enjoys a walk so a home where he is going to be taken on regular walks or trips to the off leash park would be great. He will also benefit from positive reinforcement training. Nav is a house dog and must have indoor access via a doggy door or similar. His coat is soft and silky and will require grooming and brushing regularly.

NEMO

Male Shih Tzu X Silky Terrier

Aged approx. 2 years

Toy size

This cute little fellow looks naughty and cheeky but is really a quiet and gentle little dog who just wants someone to love. Nemo will follow you around the house, sleep on your lap, the sofa or nearby and is always good for a cuddle. He is quite small and light, about 3.5 kg and rather thin so his foster carer is feeding him twice a day and he is beginning to put on weight. Nemo is looking for a quiet home without small noisy children as he is timid and they may scare him. He likes to run and play a little with Hugo the dog he is in foster care with so a home with another nice natured dog would suit him down to the ground. Nemo is a house dog that is house trained and his new home will ideally have a doggy door or similar as we would like him to have access to at least part of the house when his family are not at home. Nemo’s coat will grow and require regular grooming to keep him nice and tidy.

RUFUS

Male Terrier X

Aged approx. 18 months

Small size

Rufus was released from the Pound just before Christmas and he has shown every day just  how grateful he is for the opportunity to have a wonderful new life. Rufus' foster carer thinks that he is one of the most adorable dogs she has ever met. He is gentle and kind to the other dogs he is in care with and really enjoys being with a family who love their dogs. Rufus shows his pleasure by giving non-stop kisses and smiling in true dog fashion. He loves playing with toys (especially balls) but at the moment it is hard for him as he has a very sore leg. Rufus was x-rayed when he came from the Pound as the vet noticed that he was limping badly and was found to have a torn cruciate ligament and a dislocated hip. Major surgery is needed to fix these before he can be rehomed and we would like to have this done as soon as possible to alleviate the pain he is suffering. When Rufus recovers from his surgery he will be looking for a wonderful home and he is such a character and we expect that whoever adopts this gorgeous fluff bucket will love him as much as we do. When Rufus isn't playing he enjoys sitting right next to you and is also good with cats. He has a lovely wiry coat with lots of gorgeous colours mixed through and it is low maintenance so only requires a quick brush and tidy up to keep him looking lovely.  Rufus enjoys all types of food and takes his pain medication without any fuss. He is a house dog and must have indoor access via a doggy door or similar.

SONIA

Female Maltese X Chihuahua

Aged approx. 7 years

Small size

Sonia is a quiet, no fuss, gentle little girl that is very sweet and very lovable. Sonia is very well behaved, sleeps through the night and her house training is progressing well. Sonia’s foster carer doesn’t think she has had a lot of affection in the past and that she may have been neglected but she does love a cuddle and the chance for a snooze on your lap. Sonia is very responsive and her tail wags enthusiastically at the mention of her name or when she is receiving attention from her carer. She walks well on a lead and enjoys getting out and about. Cats are not her favourite idea of a companion but she isn't obsessive about them although she sometimes chases them away if they venture into her space. A quiet home would suit Sonia best as children may be too noisy for her quiet demeanour and, as she is small, she may get knocked over  in rowdy play. Sonia enjoys companionship and being by your side so someone who is around during the day would be ideal and then she would not have to be left for long hours by herself. Sonia needs access to outdoors and prefers to go to the toilet on grass. Those big ears and big eyes make her look so cute and just melt your heart. Sonia was rescued from the Pound where she had been surrendered by her previous owner and was in horrendous condition. The vet was shocked to see that her uterus had herniated outside of her tummy so Sonia had surgery to desex and repair her stomach wall and she also had a major dental as her teeth was putrid. She came through her surgery with flying colours and is now happy and well.  Sonia has sight in only one eye but that does not stop her from enjoying life. She is a house dog and must have indoor access via a doggy door or similar. Her coat will only need a regular brush and groom to keep her looking beautiful.

Sonia comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $425 and the adoption fee includes her collar and harness. Sonia has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on Sonia please email Denise using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. ANGEL

Female Maltese X

Aged approx. 3 years

Small size

Angel is a confident, energetic girl, both sweet looking and sweet natured that was found wandering the streets and ended up at the Pound. She loves people, sitting on laps, playing with soft toys, walks and chomping on marrow bones! Angel also loves playing with submissive dogs but is not comfortable around dominant dogs. Until she settles into a new home and feels secure, she is likely to want to try to escape so secure fencing and door and gate monitoring is necessary. Angel is ideally suited to a home without young children under the age of 12 and can be rehomed as an only dog or with a submissive larger dog.  Angel knows and responds to several commands including come, stay, go back, leave it, get down (off the bed). She is house trained as long as she can get out so a doggy door would be ideal. Angel will be perfect for someone at home most of the time who is interested in an affectionate, loving, intelligent companion. She is a house dog who would like a home where she will always have access to at least part of the house and comes with a lifetime of training advice.

Angel comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $425 and the adoption fee includes her collar and harness. NELSON

Male Shih Tzu X

Aged approx. 2 years

Small size

What a funny little fellow! Nelson is all boy with 'the strut' and a barrel chest and he takes his job of watching the neighbours VERY seriously. He loves a walk so his new home should make that a daily occurrence. Nelson adores humans and would be quite happy to just hang out with you. He has been temperament tested with children and his foster carer believes he would do best with children over 9 years old who would love and cuddle him and take him everywhere with them. He’d also love to ride bikes, play cricket and go to the river (he rocks the dog paddle!). Nelson isn’t a fussy eater, he sleeps all night happily without a peep, is good in the car and 100% housetrained. Nelson would love a home as an only dog and is a house dog with a coat that will grow and require regular grooming.
