Terrific mages, no good agents or emissaries. Three artifacts. This is a good position for role-players as the emphasis is on magic and artifacts. You have a very secure base - virtually unassailable by armies - but you are a long way from the heart of the action. Your best bet is to stake out a forward base camp and use those mages. Unfortunately, the navies will be of little practical benefit.

Led by the Fifth of the Nazgûl, the Blind Sorcerer, the nation of Akhôrahil represents one of the most dangerous collections of mages and artifacts among all the Dark Servants. From his main fortress in southeastern Mordor, the Blind Sorcerer's adepts prepare for the inevitable expansion of his domain into Harad and Khand, and perhaps even into Rhovanion.
Akhôrahil possesses one of the few navies serving the Dark Lord. Having transports to facilitate movement about Mordor is often beneficial. Additionally, the skill of his mariners is such that the Blind Sorcerer's ships will never suffer from storms or become lost on the open seas. This mastery of the seas could be made even more significant if the Blind Sorcerer is able to gain harbor access along the coast of, or to a major river leading to, the Great Sea.

Akhôrahil possesses one of the richest regions from which to operate. With respect to resources, the surrounding lands are rich in variety and quantity. Furthermore, the sparsely populated region is devoid of central control. However, although there are no Free Peoples directly bordering the Akhôrahil's realm, strong Neutrals, namely the Easterlings and the Haradwaith, may have to be discouraged or confronted in order to secure sufficient settlements.

Although lacking individuals skilled in the more subtle means of persuasion, the Blind Sorcerer is surrounded by crafty Mages and well-supplied forces, and his armies and navies are swiftly rising to become a force with which to be reckoned. Akhôrahil's realm also bridges the eastern access into Mordor. This strategic location places certain diplomatic and military burdens upon Akhôrahil. However, these are not yet the strongest aspects of the Blind Sorcerer nation. As a result, careful coordination with the Blind Sorcerer's neighbors, namely the Long Rider, the Cloud Lord, and the other nations within Mordor, is crucial.

Powerful Mages and ancient items of power contribute much to the growing might of the forces of the Blind Sorcerer. The effectiveness of Akhôrahil's power is reflected by the unusual ability of all Blind Sorcerer Mages to learn the lost Summon Storms spell. Furthermore, the Blind Sorcerer is capable of attracting foul hordes to his armies because all his Mages also have the ability of learning the lost Conjure Hordes spell. In fact, the competition among his apprentices is so intense that all new Blind Sorcerer Mages can begin with a Mage rank of up to 40. These Mages are extremely valuable in combat, as well as for gathering information, and for securing intelligence regarding allies and enemies alike. Much interest is focused on the acquisition of more and more artifacts, and Blind Sorcerer Mages are keen on locating and finding these items.
