Remote Control Generation

(Many thanks to Belinda for these lyrics).

(This song was 1 min 18 seconds long - it had to be shorter than the Living End's "What would you do". It also had to include John Farnham's and Michael Jackson's television shows, the Transformers, and the chant "Milk Milk lemonade, Round the Corner, that's where chocolate is made").

Gatesy: When I was a child, watching TV was easy,
You could watch an entire show with no remote control,
To fight over - except the video one, which was on a cord.

Tripod: The Transformers was my favourite show,
I like them all except the one that could turn into a gun,
And how could that be fun with just a weapon with no-one to wield him?

Scod: But today I don't understand the youth today, I'm just getting so confused today,
On TV there's just so much to peruse today and it's giving me the blues today.

Tripod: There's Michael Jackson shows on Seven and Ten,
I was thinking of watching those but then again...
The Farnsey specials are really hot,
There's so much to choose from, and yet not.

Scod: I'm thinking of switching over to the ABC,
And watch another show about the human body.

Gatesy: "Milk Milk Lemonade, Round the Corner, Chocolate's Made"
Gatesy: That's the title of the show, yeah?

Scod: The remote control generation has a short attention span.
Their songs aren't even long enough, man.
