This site is not intended to infringe copyright in any way. I have made these mp3s available for download in the belief that it is legally and morally correct to do so, as they all fit into one of the following categories:
1) Mp3s that are currently legitimately available elsewhere on the web - that is, on the Triple J or Chaos Music websites. (eg. Aussie Anthem, Protest Song, Love Song).
2) Mp3s that were once legitimately available in a different format - this only applies to the Sydney Morning Herald interview, which was originally hosted on their website in a streaming video format.
3) Mp3s of songs that Tripod did not write themselves (eg. Oasis Medley, Sweet Caroline).
There are no "borderline" songs available on this site (Tripod songs which don't fit into the above categories but are not available for sale and have been played on free-to-air TV) due to a request from a member of Tripod. I am not sure if this is the official policy, and I would be happy to be notified if this is not the case.
If you are a representative of Tripod, Token, Triple J or anyone else with a financial interest in this material and you believe that I have infringed copyright in some way, please contact me at penny@penny.id.au to resolve the issue.
To the Tripod fans - please take the extra effort to buy their CDs and video rather than downloading them. Let's keep Tripod in business.
