  • The Zen cottage is situated in beautiful south Leura next to the Gordon Falls Reserve. Gordon Falls Reserve contains the Gordon Falls lookout across the Jameson Valley and the 'other' side of the Three Sisters, as can be seen in the photos of the Jameson Valley and the Three Sisters above. It provides the starting point for many bushwalks, as well as picnic areas and playgrounds.

  • It is only a short 1.5kms to the quaint mountain village of Leura, the home of award winning cafes and restaurants, and interesting shops.

  • Leura is famous for its wonderful gardens. In spring, the gardens are opened to the public during the Leura Garden Festival, which attracts many visitors each year. The 2006 Leura Garden Festival is on between September 30 - October 9.

  • The historic Everglades Gardens is situated in Leura. This National Trust property was designed by Paul Sorensen, and is one of the best examples of colonial landscape architecture in Australia.

  • Many other mountain attractions are at your fingertips, including Echo Point, The Scenic Railway, and the toy railway museum.

  • Leura is 118km from Sydney CBD, 1hr 20m by car or 2 hrs by train.
