 | You may want to put a
family history into book form so that you can distribute it to
members of your family. You may want some photos in it. Perhaps you
need only fifty or a hundred copies. |

short stories for your children or grandchildren. Twenty copies
might be enough, maybe thirty, fifty or a hundred. You might need
some pictures drawn for it, or you might have drawn your own.

poetry you’d like to preserve. You need a good design for a book,
perhaps even hardback, and print a few for those select friends who
appreciate your muse. |
| You might have an old diary
belonging to a great-grandfather and a few other descendants would
like a copy. Or perhaps a travel diary. A facsimile edition with a
small print run will do the job very nicely. |
| You might belong to a local
history association or a sporting club or church or fishing club and
you’d like to write and publish a history or set of rules or
whatever, that the members and a few others might like to have.
Twenty copies, or two hundred copies, or a few more. |
| You might have a special
skill and want to produce an instruction manual, or record your
techniques for posterity or for training purposes. You’ll need nice
diagrams and other pictures |
| You might not be naked, but
you’re a pretty good cook anyway, and people are always asking for
your recipes. Why not produce a book of them? |
| You may want to honour
someone special for services rendered by producing a single copy of
a book outlining their special qualities. It can be done. |
| You may have a university thesis which
would be of interest to a fairly select group of like-minded
people. Fifteen or twenty copies? No worries. |
| There's a report you have to present
to a medium to large gathering. Fifty copies, full colour
throughout? Let me take care of it. |
| You can draw as well as write, and you've
done a picture book for children. You may want a few copies
to give to friends, or a few more to sell, or just a couple to
make a submission to a publisher or distributor. |
