RAW Deal

RAW Deal is a freeware utility to view and process digital camera images recorded in RAW format.

RAW Deal does not attempt to be an universal image editor or a printing engine - there are other tools that do it well enough.
As it is a freeware program, there are no guarantees of any kind. It has been tested to prove that it works correctly, but in the end the risk is yours.

Version 2.5 is the latest available

New in version 2.5:

·         Support for A200 and Maxxum 7D cameras

·         Minor interface changes

·         Bug fixes and performance improvements

Frequently Asked Questions

The following questions I’m being asked over and over:

Will there ever be a Mac or Linux version of RAW Deal?

The simple answer is NO. RAW Deal is an application that I have developed for myself and share with the fellow Minolta camera users, but this is the limit to which my generosity extends J. I have no interest in, or enough knowledge of OS/X or Linux, no development tools for these platforms, no access to Mac computers.

If RAW Deal was ever to be ported to these platforms, it could not possibly remain a freeware, and I’m not interested in charging any money for it (I have no intention to become familiar with the complexities of the Australian tax system for small businesses, just for what would amount to pocket money).

Is it possible to  obtain the source code for the application?

RAW Deal is based on elements of framework I have developed as my day job. I have no rights to publish and distribute this framework, and without it the application cannot be compiled. Therefore the answer is NO.
