A discussion with Jorg
Barbara and Jorg stayed with us over the weekend. We shared painting experiences, travelling tales, discussions of cultural similarities and differences, jokes, meals, and some of Marshall and Jo's wine - and we had a great time. We managed to create some painted images which, I trust you'll agree, can be labelled 'beautiful'.
Jorg and I had a discussion about the Internet, and its effect on our lives, both working and social. This whole weekend had come about purely as a result of a number of emails.
It's not uncommon to regard the Internet, and the people who use it, as some sort of social evil. The advice to "get a life" is freely offered. Well - here was no less than a cultural and artistic exchange, all triggered via the net and some emails.

Not a bad result from something that should stunt your growth and cause you to become socially inept?
