The shoot

Just to show what a photographer manages to hide - this is the "jungle" from just a little further back.

Nearly done .. just got some jewellery to add after this.

Detail of what holds it all together

Cave girls can turn on a photographer without warning. Bill - impaled.

.. and I fared no better.

Thanks

Thanks to Jasmine - for braving the mosquitoes, and less than tropical night weather. As always - a pleasure to work with.

Jasmine has her own web page.

Thanks to Bill Poon - for lugging all his gear across town to shoot in our garden - and for all the skill and patience he brings to a project.

Bill has his own web page. Thanke to David Backler of Sidewalk Tango for the loan of the "flaming torches". (If you want to learn Argentine Tango - David is the man to see.)

The cave-girl idea wasn't a case of "all my own work". Quite the opposite. I saw a photograph on the web and contacted the photographer, who generously allowed me to steal the idea and use it for body-painting. Many thanks to David Smith of Dare to Be Different Photography

Thanks to my wife Yvonne - for her usual support - and in this case, the sacrificial offering of one of her prized shrubs for the spear.
