Dagna volunteered to be the model for the project - and we got the basic design mapped out at the studio - and then moved to the shop window to complete the painting. (I can now advise that painting in a shop window is definitely a cramped operation.)
Since the promotion was tied to the annual Australian Tango Festival, as the painting neared completion we had a contingent of tango addicts doing some dancing on the footpath outside the shop as well.
Passers by were somewhat startled when what appeared to be a static mannequin in the model suddenly waved to them.
