Lenora in leaves

There are countless horror stories of 'no shows' from models, or of turning up an hour late, etc. So it would seem an act of extreme faith to organise a shoot, studio, tight schedule, etc. with a model from interstate. Lenora drove down from NSW, organised the family to do some sight-seeing, and turned up at the studio, on time, ready to go. Patient throughout - (and didn't even want the heating up so high that I dehydrated!). What more could one ask?

Having a few autumn leaves seemed like a good 'prop' - so I was headed for the local park to see if there were any suitable specimens lying about. My neighbour of a few doors away saw me marching up the street looking intent on something, and wandered over for a yarn. He asked where I was headed, and I told him the quest was for some autumn leaves. "Got a front yard full of the bloody things.", he said. He gave me a "gar-bag" and sat back to chortle while I cleaned up his front yard - and carted his dead leaves away. "Best deal I've had all day.", he said.

Thanks

Thanks to Lenora - for the long drive down from NSW - and for her patience. (Lenora has a portfolio on the web.)

Thanks to Bill Poon for the photography, the supply of top-notch espressos - and again wearing the art director hat.
