Spitfire MkIX
Kit is a Top-Flite Gold Edition Spitfire. I bought it from a guy who had
just bought a full size pylon racer and needed the money
to pay it off. When bought the wing and stabs were complete and the fuse had
only just been started. I haven't really done alot to
it, haven't had the time, you can see below what it was like when bought and
the stage it is at now about 6 months later.
Servos are hitech and has robart retracts, reciever and radio will be futaba,
not sure of what I am going to use as the engine
yet, I want to use a 4-stroke but I do have a .75 2-stroke for it which should
be more than adequate but the sound is what I am
wondering about, will have to see how it goes and decide if I will get a 4-stroke
for it and which one to get.
Have no idea when it will be finished probally about this time next year but
could be later dunno depends how much
time I get to build.
