 This list is primarily intended to be made up of professional performers who are not Neil Diamond impersonators or tribute acts,

although some very good amateurs may be included (this probably will not qualify your rendition of "Sweet Caroline" at Karaoke Night).

I have another playlist of songs written (or co-written) by Neil sung by other artists.

May include such acts performing songs not written by Neil if he has been known to perform them over the years

(an example being "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" - no, he did not write this song, and neither did anyone in the Hollies).

In addition, the performance must be tasteful.

So, don't look for Will Ferrell's famous "Saturday Night Live" routine here (although his Gap ad is being considered for inclusion).
